Home Sweet Home

A lazy summer afternoon canoeing,

Cookout with friends on the back deck.

We live in a wonderful old farmhouse in the country, in Noblesville, Indiana, near Indianapolis.   Our front yard has an apple tree that’s great for climbing,  and the hill behind our house is awesome for sledding in the winter!   We have tons of space to play tag and hide and seek, and there’s a perfecto spot in the backyard to build a play set and a sand box.

We love to feed the birds and watch the wildlife that wanders into the yard.  Deer, raccoons and rabbits come to nibble the flowers and visit our pond for a drink.  We’re looking forward to sharing these experiences with our child, and teaching him or her an appreciation of nature.

The schools here are fantastic, and there are lots of activities for children of all ages.  Taking our child to the Easter egg hunt at the park, the pumpkin patch and petting zoo  in the fall, and to visit Santa at Christmas will be new family traditions.  We can go canoeing, or catch a game of putt-putt golf  in the warmer months, or build a huge snowman in the backyard in the winter. Since we’re close to Indianapolis, we’re planning lots of trips to the zoo, the world’s largest children’s museum, and our favorite - the annual train ride to the Indiana State Fair!

We’d love to hear from you, and to make you and your baby part of our family!
