We live in a bright and inviting farm house in the country, in Noblesville, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. We love to feed the birds and watch the wildlife that wanders into the yard. Deer, raccoons and rabbits come to nibble the flowers and visit our pond for a drink.
Our nephews, David and Kieran, love climbing the apple tree in our front yard, and our dogs, Lex and Ripley, have a great time romping on the hill behind the house. We have tons of space to play tag and hide a seek. We can’t wait to build a play set and a sand box in the back yard!
Noblesville is a great town for families. We are so looking forward to taking our child to the annual Easter egg hunt at Forest Park, the Pumpkin Patch and petting zoo in the fall, and to visit Santa’s house on the square at Christmas time. We can relax at the beach, or catch a game of putt-putt golf in the warmer months, or hit the sledding hill at the park in the winter.
Contrary to myth...there really is more than corn in Indiana! Since we are so close to Indianapolis, we’re planning lots of trips to the zoo, and the world’s largest children’s museum. Don’t forget the Indy 500, and the Indiana State Fair. We may even get to see our football team play in the Super Bowl at home in a couple of years. Go Colts! |
